A few days away
I spent the past weekend away from Delilah for the first time as my traditional Spring Training getaway with my buddies came again. It was tough to be away, especially when most of the games we attended were packed full of families (often with just father and daughter.)
We coordinated my itinerary so that I could go through Orange County airport so DeeDee and Delilah could spend a few days with Lilah’s maternal grandparents. As usual, her grandparents cherished the time with Lilah, and DeeDee had some quiet time as well.
The next few entries cover those days and I was relieved that upon my return home Delilah was quick to respond with a smile.
