Delilah’s School Birthday Party
Given Delilah’s large Pre-School class we were unable to invite them all to Delilah’s first birthday party at our house. Fortunately we teamed up with two other Dec/Jan classmates to throw yet another party for our little girl (the other two boys were both turning four.)
It was quite a fun party in which each birthday child picked their own theme - Delilah of course wanted “Hulk”. We held the party at Kidspace - a kid focused science museum in Pasadena. It was a great location and we had an excellent turnout.
One of the many highlights was early each kid got to stand in the middle of the parachute and get Happy Birthday sung to them. Delilah is not one to enjoy being the center of attention so when it came to her turn she quickly said no and started to cry - taking after my childhood where rumor has it I would cry whenever Happy Birthday was sung to me.
All in all the end to a great holiday / birthday season!
