Delilah’s School Birthday Gift
Having gone through her first birthday party and Christmas, Delilah has collected a ton of toys. With yet another party she got some overlap - so she and I shot over to Target to exchange the duplicates. With the store credit I told her she could get another “toy” which she immediately decided should be a scooter - as “she said that at the park with Grandma” (which was several weeks prior.) Anyways, she quickly ignored all the pink scooters and selected Buzz Lightyear and, of course, still wanted the real “toy” I had originally offered her (she didn’t consider the scooter a toy, so I was suckered into buying her a scooter and a toy)!
