Lilah’s Art
Delilah’s favorite thing to do right now is make art. At school, she makes pages and pages of it, and at home she makes even more. Luckily, Delilah’s art station is always fully stocked. She’s branching out and drawing new objects, and uses simple shapes to accomplish her tasks. The first drawing is her very first train, the second, a centipede, and the last one was inspired by a trip to the bathroom. This was the rather serious and graphic conversation that preceded the last picture:
“Hey, Mommy? Why don’t I draw coconuts on my paper! I know how to draw coconuts, you just draw circles! And I have green and brown because my coconuts were green and brown [note: they were literally bright green and brown - sorry, tmi]. And after that, I’m going to draw pee-pee. Coming out of my butt. Right here.”
