Semi-Naked Morning
The above video shows Delilah in two of her very favorite states: Semi-naked and morning time.
Every morning she wakes up around 8:30am and just chills in her crib. Around the same time, DeeDee’s mom instincts kick in and she checks the video monitor and exclaims “Delilah’s awake.” With that cue I drag myself out of bed and head over to Lilah’s room to prep her for breakfast.
Even in my drowsy state, it’s becoming quite a highlight to enter to approach the crib and, once she sees me, be greeted with a huge smile. We both feel that morning times are by far Delilah’s favorite (a trait she did not pick up from me) and wanted to document it before it all changes. Of course, a nearly naked Delilah is a close second in terms of her happy state of mind.
