Delilah has been receiving a weekly allowance for the past year. Each week, she splits her allowance into three portions: a portion to save, to spend, and to donate. She finally saved up enough in her “donate” portion to make a contribution to the World Wildlife Fund’s Adopt-an-Animal program. She chose to adopt the duckbill platypus. With her donation comes a stuffed animal, certificate, and information card.
She made the donation about three weeks ago, and EVERY SINGLE DAY since, multiple times a day, she has been checking the front door to see if her stuffed animal package arrived. Finally, it arrived today.
