Birthday Cake Time
Delilah seemed to enjoy the singing and resulting blowing out of the candle, however very strangely (at least for a daughter of mine) she did not really enjoy the cake. We expected her to dive in and go crazy but she reluctantly wiped some of the frosting off the cake only to eventually have a few bites from my finger.
However, I am happy to report that over the next few days she seemed to quickly garner a taste for the sweet goodness during mom and dad’s leftover cake snacks.
