DeeDee’s Birthday @ Mozza!!!
After some discussion we decided to take Delilah with us to celebrate DeeDee’s birthday at our favorite restaurant in LA - Pizzeria Mozza. I called about a month ago for a 6:15pm reservation for three. Even though Lilah is only one we wanted to introduce her at an early age to Mozza as it’s our go-to spot for any big celebration.
She seemed to really enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant (it’s rather small) as well as many of the plates we ordered (especially the breadsticks and the caprese.) However, her favorite matched ours in the Butterscotch Budino (basically butterscotch pudding with sea salt.) She almost could not get enough.
Fortunately, we sat next to a couple in town for business who enjoyed the fact that Delilah would grab at them and play. Then once they left, the next open table was a small family with two smaller kids - both of whom really enjoyed playing with Lilah from afar. This went a long way towards a smooth dinner and made for a great celebration.
