Zoo - Round III
We returned to the zoo today for our third visit hoping that the cooler weather and Delilah’s “older age” would make for a special trip. It really was. Lilah was ooh'ing and aah'ing at most of the animals. One of her favorites were the pink flamingos as she actually got upset when we began to put her back into her stroller to move on. She got to see a lot more this time around including chimps, lions, giraffes, and gorillas. However, we had some issues locating the big new elephant exhibit (our main reason for the trip) and eventually stumbled onto it as they were walking the elephants away in the distance.
