Smart Girl

At 14 months Delilah has been able to gain a pretty good grasp of our vocabulary.  It’s really amazing to me how quickly her little mind absorbs what we are saying - often it just takes an initial introduction to a word or phrase to commit it to her memory.  There are a few classics that I wanted to be sure to document.

(Note: The sign for bath is two thumbs up and rubbing the chest which is what Delilah is showing here. When I ask “Who’s the monkey?” she points to herself because one of her favorite books has a picture of a monkey, and whenever DeeDee would read it to her, she would tickle Delilah’s armpits while making the sounds “ooh ooh ooh, aah aah aah,” so Delilah then starting pointing to herself whenever we asked “Where’s the monkey?"  I think it’s funny, DeeDee not so much.)
