Santa Cruz Boardwalk
We stayed one night in Santa Cruz right off the beach. While it was overcast, we spent some time the first evening walking the beach and the boardwalk. This was Delilah’s first time on the beach since she was an infant and definitely the first time she was able to register it all.
She seemed to really enjoy the birds and waves - but of course was hesitant to walk on the beach so we had to carry her all around (of course with her pointing as a navigational guide.) Her favorite part seemed to be the boardwalk - specifically the animatronic objects that littered the strip. From the bird in the shooting gallery to a giant stuffed clown she was very enthralled by it all.
