Nursery Rhymes & Barbie iPod
We try to spend as much time as we can reading to Delilah and especially singing her nursery rhymes (DeeDee’s speciality.) As you can see, a favorite pasttime of mother and daughter.
This picture also documents the killer Barbie iPod player that I bought for Lilah before she was born. DeeDee gave me this one task for the nursery and made the mistake of expecting to match her good taste. Rather than go with the simple and stylistic player that DeeDee seemed to think was the obvious choice, I decided any little girl would want a bright pink player. After scouring the internet this seemed to me to be the best fit - especially with the not featured function of flashing lights during the song.
