The Kiddie Pool
We spent most of our days hunkered down at this pool. It was pretty great as it had an enormous play structure in the middle that was full of ladders, water slides, and even had a giant “bucket” that would slowly fill up with water during the course of time and every ten minutes or so would tip over to douse the entire structure with water.
Delilah had sort of a love/hate relationship with this bucket. Whenever we were nearby and the bucket tipped she would let out a horrified scream (the first time I’ve heard such a scream of terror from her.) However, when we were far enough away from the bucket she would just watch it tip and mutter “whoa” in amazement. It was quite cute.
The other amusing part of the kiddie pool was that it had to close multiple times a day due to “contamination." Fortunately, Delilah never was the guilty party.
