Ballet and Tap Shoes!
Big day today - moreso for DeeDee than Delilah it seemed. DeeDee had told Delilah after dance class last week that she’d be moving up to the “big girl” dance class this coming week. The big change is that the big girl class is a bit more formal - half hour ballet and a half hour of tap. Of course, that means new shoes are required.
Because of this, we had been telling Delilah that we would have to go buy more “dance shoes” and she seemed very excited about this idea. Well, today was the day. She was fitted and got one pair of tap and one pair of ballet shoes - plus a pretty sick pair of fusia Adidas since she has just about grown out of her last pair of sneakers.
We are all very excited for the little dancer to wear her new shoes to next week’s class.
