Favorite Pastimes @ 28 months
These days it seems that Delilah could happily spend her day with three activities: playing “house”, doing puzzles, and playing iPad.
“House” entails basically using her blocks to setup a house for her little toy animals. Often the animals will adorn the top of the blocks or simply be surrounded by blocks. She’s very particular about the arrangment and takes great pride in the final product.
She loves all her puzzles as well - she’s gotten to the point where she can do several 24-piece puzzles on her own and quite quickly. Her favorite being an oval Mickey puzzle. We’re now venturing on to 48-piece puzzles!
iPad-wise she still loves watching cartoon and toddler song videos on YouTube, but also continues to enjoy playing her “preschool” games as well as some choice Disney apps we’ve downloaded. Mazes and puzzles are some of her favorite activities in these apps.
