Delilah’s Schoolyard Nemesis
Towards the end of the fair, Delilah and I escaped for a bit of fun on the playground. Last year’s big donation push was for a large “tree house” that was recently completed. The tree house has a long bridge that connects the main house to another tree in the yard. Well, Delilah wants nothing more than to play on the bridge but can’t quite get the nerve to cross the bridge herself. I watched her wait for five minutes until the bridge was free of crazy, jumping kids to attempt to go across by herself - this was as far as she got.
